Free Group classes are forming at the Army Wellness Center. To register call the Fort Lee Army Wellness Center, (804) 734-9925, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Regularly scheduled classes include Upping Your Metabolism allows participants to explore the basics of metabolism, and caloric balance as well as strategies and tolls to assist in weight maintenance and leading a healthy lifestyle. This class is most beneficial after completion of metabolic testing. Classes are held every Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Healthy Sleep Habits teaches participants just how important sleep really is and explores methods and positive action steps that can be used to achieve better quality sleep. This class is held the 2nd Thursday of each month from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Kenner Army Health Clinic, Troop Medical Clinic 1, and Mosier Consolidated Troop Medical Clinic will be closed Nov. 27 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday and Nov. 28 for the training holiday.
To reach the pediatric or adult on-call provider when the clinic is closed, contact the administrative officer of the day at (804) 734-9000.
All Kenner patients must obtain a referral before seeking care at an urgent care center or other network provider.

Kenner Army Health Clinic has scheduled evening flu clinics for pediatric and adult patients in December.
The Wilkerson Pediatric Clinic and the Family Medicine Clinic will have extended hours for the flu vaccine Dec. 2, 3 and 4 from 4-6 p.m.

Kenner Army Health Clinic is in search of patients and stakeholders who want to have their voice heard in regard to their military health care. The Patient and Stakeholder Advisory Council’s mission is grounded in mutually beneficial partnerships among patients, families and healthcare providers. It also serves as the “patient voice,” encouraging the community viewpoint in the quality of care decision-making process. Limited Clinical Services and Appointment Line Availability, 3rd Thursday Afternoons
Kenner Army Health Clinic clinical services and appointment line availability will be limited on the 3rd Thursday afternoon, (1 to 4 p.m.) of each month. This does not include ancillary services such as pharmacy, laboratory, or radiology.
Our clinical staff, to include providers and nurses, will be participating in training and development requirements during this time.
We will resume normal operations the following Friday morning.
